Mission and Values

“Resourcing Mission, Equipping Pastors, and Building Gospel Partnerships to cultivate sustainable churches in Southern California”

Resourcing Mission – Our grants and ongoing support focus around sowing into existing under-resourced churches so they can reach further into their communities with the love of Christ and resourcing church planters to see more gospel-centered churches planted in Southern California.  As we sow generously, we want to be a wind to the back of churches, especially those most vulnerable.

Equipping Pastors – Manna does so much more than just give grants. We highly value pastors and want to equip them via retreats, workshops, forums, cohorts, mentoring and more.

Building Gospel Partnerships – We value a united team both locally and broadly. God works powerfully when His church comes together and makes much of Jesus.  We partner with established local churches and leaders from across the spectrum to dynamically equip and coach the next generation of pastors and planters.

Cultivating Sustainable Churches – Relationship is key.  Our approach is holistic.  Our hope is not only seeing seedling churches planted and temporarily strengthened, but also securely rooted on their way to longevity.  In addition to partnering with local based organizations and established pastors and leaders, we are currently developing and formalizing coaching that would have an aim to see churches and pastors become more sustainable in the following areas: Church Structure, Team, Health, Finance, Mission, Mercy and Justice, Admin, Building, Streams of Income, Pastoral Spiritual Health, Emotional Health, Marital Health.
